I am interested in the neuropsychology of depression and anxiety. What can the brain tell us about depression and anxiety? How can we take advantage of high neural plasticity during development to improve children's developmental trajectory? How can we use this understanding to shape psychotherapy? Can we use neuroscience to predict future problems and offer interventions before symptoms appear? What are the limitations of neuroscience in explaining psychopathology?
