Saturday Treatment Program
The Center for Children and Families (CCF) of FIU is pleased to announce that we will be offering a Saturday Treatment Program for Children with ADHD.
Who is Eligible? The program is open to parents and their children in grades 1st-5th with behavioral problems.
What is it? The child portion of the program will focus on developing social skills to promote positive peer relationships. Children will participate in both classroom activities and recreational sport activities. A parent workshop will run concurrently to teach parents about evidence-based treatments that will help promote positive changes in their children's home and school behavior.
When? Upcoming sessions are as follows:
- Fall 2015: 10/3/15-11/21/15, 9:30 AM-12:00 PM
- Winter 2016: 1/9/16-3/12/15, 9:30 AM-12:00 PM
- Spring 2016: 4/3/16-5/21/15, 9:30 AM-12:00 PM
Where? All activities will take place on Modesto A Maidique Campus at FIU. Children may be signed in at Academic Health Center - 1, Room 140. Parent workshops will be held in the same building.
